Paint
Ciavete
«‘Ciavete’ is a word in Italian dialect that means ‘whatever we want’. That’s a polite edit. Transposed to paint, it means that we create, as any artist must, in our style. However, we will happily note down your colour likes and dislikes or any inspiration you wish to communicate before starting to paint. Once complete, the first time you’ll see your Ciavete artwork will be when you receive your frame.»
Graphics
«Pegoretti graphic designs sit at the midpoint between straightforward base colours and freeform Ciavete compositions. As such, our graphics are well-suited to the rider seeking a more geometric, repeat finish for their Pegoretti. However, graphics might be a misleading word, as Pegoretti graphics are hand-painted, not simply applied as transfers.»
Solid Colours
«The Bottega stocks a selection of RAL options in-house, ranging from simple, bold colours, to blends and soft pastel hues. But of course, you are also welcome to suggest a custom colour – just bear in mind that you may have to pick the nearest neighbour from the RAL reference library in order for us to accurately render the finish to your frame.»
